NAGASGA shall have a welfare for all members which shall be operated by a welfare committee consisting a Welfare Chairman. Vice Chairman and a Secretary. The welfare shall operate a separate account that shall be opened to all members for easy payment of welfare dues. The welfare committee shall help a member or a group to plan for his or her Lunching if the need arises.
Membership
1. All members of NAGASGA shall be automatic members of the welfare.
2. A person who registers to become a member of the NAGASGA shall automatically become a member of the NAGASGA welfare.
Welfare Dues
1. Every individual member of the welfare shall pay a monthly dues of $10.2. Every registered group or soloist shall pay $10 as monthly dues.
Punishment for defaulters
1. If a person defaults payment of the welfare dues for three(3) consecutive times, the person shall be disqualified for any welfare benefit, after been reminded and nothing is been done of it.
2. If a group or soloist defaults payment of the welfare dues for three(3) consecutive months, they shall be disqualified for any welfare benefit.
Welfare Benefits
1. Launching of Music Albums
a.) The group or a member launching a music album shall inform the welfare committee at least two month before the launching by writing. If in case the committee is not been informed on time then the said member shall receive his or her benefit after the program.
b) The welfare committee shall set up a delegation to represent NAGASGA at all launchings. All members shall also be encouraged to attend the launching.
c) An amount of $1000 shall be paid to support the said group or person.
d) The said group or person shall give a copy of the album to the welfare committee to be stored in the NAGASGA music bank.
2. Marriages/Weddings
a) A member who is marrying shall inform the welfare committee in writing at least one month before the marriage.
b) The welfare committee shall set up a delegation to represent NAGASGA at the marriage.
c) An amount of $100 shall be paid to support the person.
3. Hospital Admissions/ AccidentsHospital Admissions/ Accidents
a) A person admitted in the hospital or involved in an accident for one month or more shall inform the welfare committee.
b) The welfare committee shall set up a delegation to visit the person on behalf of NAGASGA.
c) An amount of $300 shall be paid to support the said person.
4. Funerals/Bereavement
a) Death of a member
i. NAGASGA shall provide a live band and music for the funeral.i0069. An amount of $300 shall be paid to the family as NAGASGA funeral donation.
b) Death of Spouse
i. The bereaved member shall inform the welfare committee in writing at least one month before the final funeral rite of the spouse.
ii. The welfare committee shall set up a delegation to represent NAGASGA in the funeral.
iii. An amount of $100 shall be paid to the bereaved member as NAGASGA funeral donation.
c) Death of a Child
i. The bereaved member shall inform the welfare committee in writing at least one month before the final funeral rite of the child.
ii. The welfare committee shall set up a delegation to represent NAGASGA in the funeral.
iii. An amount of $100 shall be paid to the bereaved member as NAGASGA funeral donation.
d) Death of a parent
i. The bereaved member shall inform the welfare committee in writing at least one month before the final funeral rite of the parent.
ii. The welfare committee shall set up a delegation to represent NAGASGA in the funeral.
iii. An amount of $100 shall be paid to the bereaved member as NAGASGA funeral donation.
Effective date for accessing the welfare benefits.
1. Member shall qualify to access the welfare benefits five months after the adoption of this welfare guidelines
2. A new registered member shall qualify to access the welfare benefits after six(6) months of contribution to the welfare.
